Sheboygan North Expo

North Expo

The SheVegas project had 2 overriding principles, include as many people as possible, and no contact or preparation, shoot and gather as a Citizen, not an entity. During that period, Sheboygan North High School treated me like no other, they welcomed me into their school, without question, or judgement. Tonight I hope to shoot my third Expo, why? because I likes it. Also to mark the return of SheVegas, as it was intended, yet with a twist, I’m ready to talk to people, and ask for a little more. What that means, I’m actually going to identify my self and ask for small favors, like tapping into the sound board, and a place to stash some stuff. SheVegas II Electric Boogaloo is ready to redefine online journalism, get ready for a smooth ride into the future.

Sheboygan Cold Spring

Cooler by the lake, it’s not just a marketing slogan from Sheboygan’s Tourism Department. It really is cooler near Lake Michigan the vast majority of Spring and Summer. The lakes water acts as a gigantic thermal sink, cooling in Summer, warming in Winter. Continue reading

Sheboygan Radio Legend Proposes Lakefront Roller Coaster

When I think Roller Coaster, I’m thinking love.

Zingo
Radio Ben Olson, not to be confused with Super Man friend Jimmy Olson, wasn’t looking at a roller coaster, he’s the kind of guy that needs a USB cable and stuff like that. Ben probably was thinking about Sheboygan’s Lakefront, yet, not as much as he may be today. You see, when Ben Olson dipped his peanut butter roller coaster in his chocalate covered city, he forwarded the idea of the terminus, from one of “something”, to one of something tangible.

The Good Story from Iowa

America 24/7

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

America 24/7 was a book published by DK in 2003 about culture and life in the United States. It is a photographic book, i.e. every page contains a picture depicting life of Americans from every U.S. State.

Between May 12-18, 2003, digital photographers were asked to take pictures of cities and towns, friends, neighbors, families and animals. More than 25,000 photographers responded.Photographers ranged from first-time users to international photojournalists and newspaper shooters. Included in these were 36 Pulitzer Prize winners.

The project was created by Rick Smolan and David Elliot Cohen, the team behind the New York Times #1 Bestseller: A Day in the Life of America.
